Estimation
Some things to think about before your pedometers arrive:
- How far do you think you would travel in 10 steps? 100 steps? 1000 steps? 10 000 steps?
- How many steps do you think it would take to walk the perimeter of your classroom? The perimeter of your school?
- How many steps do you think you would take in one school day?
- How many steps do you think you would take during one recess?
- How many steps do you think you would take during DPA?
